Description
This webinar reviews what is known about participant payment in research, including a review of federal regulations, peer-reviewed literature, and payment categories. We will then consider some ethically problematic case study examples, followed by data that describe how payment decisions are made at a single institution. Finally, we will discuss a recent study focused on determining participant payment in high-risk HIV research.
