Wilford is a Microbiology teacher at Scheck Hillel Community School. He is also a local the HOSA – Future Health Professional Broward Advisor. HOSA is an internationally recognized organization whose objective is to inspire students in STEM and health professions careers through competitions and community engagement. Mr. Miranda’s goal is to provide experiential learning experiences into the classroom through HOSA and the Microbiology Tiny Earth Program, a network of students and teachers focused on identifying novel antibiotics from soil bacteria.
