Wayne L. Mowery, Jr. is an Associate General Counsel for the University of Alaska System. Prior to joining the UA team, he served as Senior Director of Compliance, University Export Compliance Officer, and Empowered Official for The Pennsylvania State University. Wayne graduated with honors from Dartmouth College with a degree in Government/History, with a focus on eastern European cultures and systems, and earned his JD with honors from The Dickinson School of Law. While at Dickinson, Wayne served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Dickinson Law Review. Wayne has more than two decades of experience supporting the legal and compliance needs of both academic and corporate clients.
