Dr. Melissa A. Scotti received a BA and MS in biology from Clark University and a PhD in Biology from Indiana University. She completed postdoctoral appointments at University of Wisconsin and the University of Illinois at Chicago. As a researcher she received a National Research Service Award from the NIH and published over twenty peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Scotti transitioned from conducting research to supporting it and has held positions with research support teams at University of Colorado Health, Columbia University Medical Center and, currently, Northwell Health. As a member of Northwell’s Office of Research Compliance, she provides regulatory and QI/QA support to sponsor-investigators.
