Dessislava (Dessi) Kirilova has worked at the Qualitative Data Repository (QDR) since the organization’s launch and currently serves as its senior curation specialist. With a background in Journalism (MA, NYU) and Political Science (MA, MPhil, Yale), Dessi enjoys training social scientists in data management and sharing. In addition to assisting researchers planning to publish their social science data, she teaches and publishes on topics around research transparency, data curation, and the broader ethics of data sharing, including the role of IRBs in the process.
