Allen A. DiPalma has worked in academic research compliance and sponsored projects for the past 32 years. He is currently the Director of the Office of Trade Compliance for the University of Pittsburgh where he is responsible for overseeing export controls, imports, visitor vetting, and drones. Allen is also highly engaged through other higher education advocacy groups such as the Council on Governmental Relations (COGR), the Association of University Export Controls Officials (AUECO), and the Academic Security and Counter Exploitation Working Group (ASCE) where he has most recently contributed to guidance addressing export controls and undue foreign influence.
